Lovely property with ornate design everywhere. Very gracious staff at every location waiting to direct or help. Wonderful river lounge for getting a drink and relaxing. The breakfast was one of the very best I have had the pleasure of. The room was very comfortable and quiet although we were on the city side by the trams.

The Staff are amazing and will do everything humanly possible t make everyone’s stay amazing. The food and drink is absolutely amazing.

- location is great - dine in food is delicious - comfortable beds - incredible lobby - nice keys for the rooms - professional staff - the river view is very good - a very nice parting gift - fridge was nice and cold - early check in

Everything. Location is perfect. Room overlooking the Rhine was fabulous (and entertaining as the gondola races were happening). This hotel has every convenience technology could provide, but it is old Europe elegance and service.

Friendly employees , especially young gentlemen in the lobby lounge and room devision manager at the reception.

Breakfast was nice but just the usual. Probably not worth €45 a person. Location was perfect right in the heart of the old town, on the river. Make sure to request a room with a view of the river. The hotel is exceptional in every way but expensive. The staff will go out of their way to meet your every request. Enjoy the cigar bar. The bedsheets and duvet cover was extremely soft and comfortable. The mini bar was accessible, free of charge.

That was really amazing stay in a truly magnicient, exceptional hotel. This is definitely in my TOP 5 list of 5 star hotels and I wish to be back as soon as possible. From the first minute there I felt welcome. At the breakfast you get the Micheline-type attention and service.

the property is everything you could hope for! Elegant, perfect location in Basel on the edge of the old town. The staff is exceptional on every level!
